Obama Gun Control Press Conference

Quote

Here is what I was able to glean from Barack Obama’s barely coherent ramblings.

VP Joe Biden leads off, claiming to have an “emerging consensus” to implement gun control.

Obama takes the podium taking about working to control violence.  He says he is introducing 23 Executive Actions.  Among them are to call for CDC to study the science behind so-called “gun violence”.

Obama called for Congress to pass legislation that would force force background checks before a private citizen could sell their gun to another private citizen.  Then he says laws should get tougher on people who buys guns with the intent of selling to criminals, failing to mention how that applies to “Fast and Furious”.

He claims to be implementing “common sense” measures, then laments that the so-called “assault weapon” ban and magazine size ban were allowed to expire.

Obama appeals to America to call for these changes.  Sadly, nothing he said was favorable to increased liberty, only increased limitation on our freedom.

He incorrectly said “we are responsible for each other.”  Indeed, we are each responsible for our own actions, and should be held accountable accordingly, as individuals.

Then he claims that Americans are counting on him to save them, and declares, “Now I’m going to sign these orders!”

Now, we have to find out exactly what is in those orders.
Here is the list

The following is from Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr. via Nik Clark, of Wisconsin Carry Inc.:

Shame on liberals for exploiting tragedy once again in our country and try to use tragedy as a reason to take our rights away.  Liberals are shameful.

We have to resist with the ferociousness of a junk yard dog, any, any attempt by liberals to make us less free by chipping away at our constitutional freedoms.  The second amendment is as sacred a right as is first amendment or any other amendment.  I’ll be willing to have a conversation with liberals about gun control in the same conversation we should have about whether government should restrict our first amendment right Continue reading
