“Gun Free Zones” Work, but not exactly as intended…

No gunsThis past weekend I was shopping for a new truck.  I really enjoyed the opportunity to compare the ride, seating position and visibility in the new Ford and Ram trucks.

The problem began when I stopped at Countryside GM in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to test a GMC pickup.  Clearly and legally posted on the door was a sign stating that I was not welcome.

I paused and looked at a new car immediately out front while I waited 30 seconds for a salesman to approach me.  He was very friendly and asked how he could be of assistance to me.  I explained that I was interested in driving a GMC pickup, since one of my friends highly recommends them over the offerings of the other major manufacturers, but I stopped at the front door.
