Remember when Obama gave money to Solyndra and the dozens of other “green energy” companies? It was sold by the left as investing in innovative companies, companies that were the leaders of the future. Remember how that turned out? Billions lost.
Scott Walker has proposed that a $25 million dollar fund be set up to give to innovative companies, just like Stimulus. This begs the question, does the person implementing the policy matter more than the policy itself? Or, is it conservatives are too afraid to hold their own accountable?
A seperate bill is being proposed by a group of co-sponsors includes two lawmakers in powerful positions, Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) and budget committee co-chairwoman Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) as well as two Democrats, Sen. Tim Cullen of Janesville and Rep. Fred Clark of Sauk City. Even Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) also supports the legislation, spokeswoman Kit Beyer said.
It’s in the cards that it’s going to happen. The question is now, are conservatives going to stand up on principle?
