Last week MSNBC host pushed the collectivist idea that children belonged to the state with the following liberal ad.
Yesterday Vicki McKenna a Wisconsin Talk Show host exposed why she would push for such a thing. In a single word “indoctrination”. Vicki posted the following information on facebook and twitter and it went viral.
As part of a civics lesson, eighth-graders at Union Grove Elementary School in Wisconsin were asked to fill out a political crossword puzzle. According to the powers that be at the Union Grove School District, here are two lessons students should take away from the assignment:
Students learned conservatism is “the political belief of preserving traditional moral values by restricting personal freedoms … ”
Conversely, they learned liberalism is “the political belief of equality and personal freedom for everyone, often changing the current system to increase government protection of civil liberties.”
EAG did a piece on it and discussed it with the original facebook poster.
Varebrook, who serves on her local Republican Party board and has appeared in commercials promoting conservative values, said she was particularly disturbed by the definition of conservatism as “restricting personal freedom.” . . . . On the back side of the crossword puzzle was a political survey students were required to fill out to identify their beliefs, something Varebrook believes is equally troubling.
The horrifying part of all of this is the fact that this is not an isolated incident. Also in the news yesterday was the fact that college students were compelled to assist in the professor’s activism.
A professor at a public university in Texas is under investigation from school administrators for allegedly forcing students in her graphic design class to create anti-gun posters for a personal anti-gun campaign she had launched.
Midwestern State University Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Betty Stewart confirmed to Campus Reform Friday the school has launched an investigation into professor Jennifer Yucus’ conduct after a student filed an official complaint on Thursday.
According to the complaint, obtained by Campus Reform, the professor compelled students in her graphic design class to create artwork opposing firearms on campus and opposing pro-gun legislation currently pending before the Texas state legislature.
Today Vicki posted yet more of Union Groves indoctrination program. Today she posted the teachers guide.
It is little wonder why socialist/progressives like Obama want to start the indoctrination earlier before the parents instill them with logic and reason. Yesterday Vicki had Professor Duke Pesta on to discuss this trend in education.
Of course they couldn’t get the political left vs right correct, here is the correct model.
We have to fight this indoctrination at every level. Federal state and local. We have to become proactive in the educational process.
