It’s not wrong on a moral basis, it’s wrong on a government over regulation basis. Think of it, should the government give tax breaks for a briss then say only only if you’re Jewish can you get one, you also recieve a government status that gives you benefits. This makes it unfair to any other religon and people who don’t practice.
Gay marriage is just a carrot liberals want to give so they can stay in power. A true small government solution: The government shouldn’t even ask if you’re married. You can figure out your will, you can figure out your own insurance benefits. There is no reason to give another right when marriage is something between you, your spouse and God.
If a church wants to marry two men or two women because that church believes God would want it that way, we should let the church marry them. Separation of church and state means just that. When the government regulates a church sacrament it’s fundamentially not seperation of church and state
